At School One, a group of 100 students from all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts enrolls annually.

Enrollment: As you are reading this, you probably think that School One is the right fit for you.

The first step in your application process is to get in touch with the school’s representatives by calling the school.

That way you will schedule a tour and informational interview, which is designed so that the prospective students can learn more about School One and determine whether this school is really for them.

Every applicant is required to take Humanities and Math placement tests which take around 2-3 hours and they have to pay $25 for it.

The tests have to be done, due to the fact that they help admission representatives set you in the right place and get familiar with your qualities.

E. Providence Area Career and Technical Center

Enrollment: The enrollment process is not complicated being that it is made so that everybody can apply.

It starts on February 1st and ends on March 31st, so it is very important to follow this deadline and submit the application form on time, due to the fact that late applications will not be accepted.

From that moment on, the application form will be available on the center’s official website.

For questions or scheduling of a visit to the E. Providence Area Career and Technical Center, you can fill out the contact form, and then, the guidance counselors will contact you shortly.

If you meet all the requirements and are accepted in E. Providence Area Career and Technical Center, sometime in June, notification letters about your acceptance will be mailed to your home address.

The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center

The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center offers high standards of education and after finishing the studies, students become responsible citizens and life-long learners.

Enrollment: Those students who want to know how to apply for this school should have in mind that they need to visit the official webpage, find, download and print the application form and complete it.

The application completion can be done sucesfully and easily if you follow the instructions in the application.

Providence Career & Technical Academy

The Providence Public School District (PPSD) serves approximately 24,000 students attending 41 schools.

Career and Technical Education programs require that students take 3 or 4 additional technical courses, participate in Skills USA learning and competitions, use personal protective equipment, and complete workplace experiences.

Enrollment: If you have decided that this is the right school for you or your child, you are strongly suggested to speak to one of our nurses/teachers about immunization requirements prior to initiating the registration process.

Moses Brown School

Enrollment: The only way of applying for this school is to do it online.

By visiting the official webpage, you will find all the guidelines related to the application process.

You will have to submit the following items to our Admission Office and those are the application form, Transcript Release Form, Teacher Recommendation Forms, Parent/Guardian Statement and Student Statement.

Once all this is done, the admission representative will review it and inform you about their decision.

Parent and student visits to the school facilities are required as part of the application process.

Parents and students must visit an admission representative, while student testing is also mandatory.

Students are required to take either the Secondary School Entrance Exam (SSAT) or the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).

The application deadline is 1st of February and if you are admitted to the school, the admission decision notification will be delivered to you by 28th February.

Paul Cuffee Middle School

Paul Cuffee School was established in 2001 as a public charter school.

Enrollment: The school has determined some requirements which have to be met so that the student is considered eligible for it.

Prospective students must be residents of the City of Providence and parents must complete and submit an application form by the deadline.

If you happen to be selected as a future student, the acceptance letters and required admissions forms and documentation will be mailed to you in March and you are required to turn in completed forms and documentation within 15 days to confirm acceptance.

The application process opens on November 1st and finishes on February 12th.

The selection is done through a lottery and those applications received after February 12th will not be eligible for lottery admissions.

On March 5th, the acceptance letters are sent.

Fees: There is no application fee when applying to Paul Cuffee School.

Illustration Studies Building

Rhode Island School of Design is a private college where students can earn bachelor’s or master’s degrees in 21 majors and it is one of the very attractive educational institutions there.

Enrollment: If you are eager to enroll in this college, the first step in your RISD application process is the completion of the Common Application which can be found on the official website.

When the supporting documents are in question, applicants must provide official transcripts of all secondary academic work, but this should be done directly by your counselor either through the Common Application, Parchment, email or mail.

The Wheeler School

The Wheeler School was founded in 1889 by Mary Colman Wheeler who was an artist, educator, and activist with an innovative vision and since then it has been providing an excellent education to young learners.

Enrollment: The applicant should apply via the Common Application and they are supposed to submit the following:

1. Completed application form

3. Upload your portfolio through SlideRoom which should present 12–20 examples of your most recent work that showcases your thinking and making.

Create a visual reaction to this object or phenomenon. You may use any medium and work on any scale. Document this work and upload it as your first response.”

Alex and Ani Hall

Enrollment: Just as any other college, this one has determined certain admission requirements that freshman applicants must meet before they apply for it.

So as to be accepted in this college you need to possess a diploma from an accredited secondary school or include at least 18 units of college preparatory academic subjects, with the following requirements:
• 4 units of college preparatory English.
• 3 units of mathematics, including algebra I, algebra II, and geometry.
• 2 units of history or social science.
• 2 units of laboratory sciences.
• 2 units of the same foreign language.
• 5 units of diversified college preparatory courses.

Furthermore, freshman applicants must submit the following materials as a part of the application procedure:

• A completed application
• A $50 nonrefundable application fee
• Official high school transcript(s) and academic recommendations
• Scores on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) of the College
• Entrance Examination Board or the ACT.
