SUNY Westchester Educational Opportunity Center

The SUNY Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC) is considered ideal for people who have financial difficulties as it provides tuition-free academic and vocational training.

Cochran School of Nursing

Enrollment: As part of the Admission Process, every applicant must take the Kaplan’s Nursing School Entrance Exam which consists of Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English exam.

Cochran School of Nursing subscribes to Kaplan for testing all applicants.

Each interested applicant is supposed to schedule the computerized exam which is offered at Cochran School of Nursing by appointment.

What you need to do is to call (914) 964-4606 to schedule your exam which takes 3 hours to be finished.

You are suggested to prepare for the exam using the study guide.

The applicants are supposed to submit the completed application before the deadline, as well as official transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary education.

For fall admission, the deadline is May 15th, while the spring admission deadline is November 1st.

Fuze Bartending

Fuze Bartending school allows you to get certified after only 20 hours of education.

There, you can expect the best bartending training in the state.

They boast a fully online program for those who cannot come to the school for classes.

You can study at your own pace, whenever it is convenient for you.

Enrollment: Enrollment into the Recreational Bartending/Mixology program 20 hours has never been so easy.

You will get a training kit for free and you will use it for hands-on practice.

Yonkers Pottery Studio

Enrollment: If you are interested in pottery lessons, you should think about enrolling in Yonkers Pottery Studio Private Instruction.

You will be able to arrange private pottery making lessons and you can choose either hand-building or wheel.

Each lesson lasts about an hour and a half to two hours maximum, depending on how many people there are.

If you want more than 2 hours of instruction there is an additional fee.

St Ann's School

When filling out the Admissions Application online, it is important to remember to select St. Ann School in Central Westchester as your school.
