Earning Your License as a Physical Therapist Assistant in North Dakota
In North Dakota, you need a license in order to work as a physical therapy assistant.
You can only do that if you get trained in a program where you will develop your skills.
Most commonly, this program is a Physical Therapist Assistant Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Associate of Science (AS) degree.
This program needs to accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and by the North Dakota Board of Physical Therapy.

Physical Therapist Assistant License Renewal Information in North Dakota
In this state, you will need to renew your license in order to keep practicing.
Licenses expire and need to be renewed every January, on the last day of the month.
To be able to renew your license, you also have to pay a $60 fee.
When you renew your license for the first time, you will not need to take extra education hours.
However, the second time, you have to attend 25 hours of class before you can apply for renewal.
