Due to the continued growth of the Las Vegas area, the city has an abundance of career opportunities for electricians across numerous industries, especially construction.
Like most other states, Nevada requires budding electricians to start their career with training through classroom work and an apprenticeship before moving on to a journeyman electrician after approximately four years.
Once at this point, a journeyman electrician can earn an electrical contractor license.
