About The Auto Mechanic Program

ATC’s Auto Mechanic program provides technical expertise and instills life skills essential for personal and professional growth.

The program lasts ten weeks and follows a structured schedule to ensure comprehensive learning.

Classes are held Monday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Emphasizing a practical approach, the training significantly focuses on hands-on experience, constituting 95% of the curriculum and a 5% classroom study component.

Participants will be introduced to professional tools and can apply their skills by working on actual customer vehicles, providing a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.

The training modules include the following:

  • Lifting a vehicle
  • Complete vehicle inspection
  • Oil changes
  • Replace/Balance tires
  • Replace drive belts
  • Brakes and more

The program does not require a high school diploma and accepts individuals with criminal records as long as they are 18 to 25.

However, it requires a driver’s license as a prerequisite to enroll.
